Wonderful

Excellent breakfast buffet and good hot breakfast choices cooked to order.

The top floor of the hotel which is outside space was not open due to it being too early in the season. There is no other outside space within the hotel to sit and enjoy the sunshine when the weather was good. This was slightly frustrating but clearly would not be a problem when the roof terrace is open.

Enjoyable stay to experience Estapona.

Location was very good and easy walk to the town and beach. Breakfast was plentiful and restaurants/bars attached to the hotel provided excellent food and drink.

A good experience and nothing to dislike, for us. Our friends were staying over the other side of the hotel and said the noise from the bar downstairs was a little loud, but did not go on too late.

Superb location, great interior design, comfortable bed and welcoming, friendly staff.

On arrival staff were very welcoming and informative. It was wonderful to step out of the Hotel door and be on a lovely, traffic free, square with great places to eat all around in the historic town centre. The Hotel is just a few hundred metres from the wonderful seafront promenade in Estepona where we walked along to the marina. Parking was nearby in Paseo Maritimo car park - TIP: park your car right along at the eastern end and exit via stairway to the promenade which minimises the walk to the Hotel. Our room overlooked the square with a balcony which was great. The view over the city from the Hotel rooftop was fantastic. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit was delicious and choice of cooked items was ample.

Only downside to our stay was that the door to our room on the first floor opened into the central atrium of the Hotel and could have been better soundproofed - it was noisy at night as people using the hotel bar and restaurants left. Through the night it was quiet though until people began moving about again in the morning.

The room was beautiful and the location was excellent. The staff went above and beyond and were always smiling and friendly.

The location was in a beautiful courtyard. Very close to the beach and town. Wonderful staff. Samuel, Lourdes, ( reception), Maria Jose, ( Makako Asian restaurant) and Danie ( Coopers pub) were so accommodating and friendly!

The best Estepona got to offer????

Super friendly and helpful Staff Room and Hotel spotless clean . Very thoughtful appointed room . I thought I would never write about a toilet bowl , but this time I have too . In the toilet bowl , there is a light bulb , that lights up when it is dark .This makes it so easy getting up at night .What a clever Idea The food at the Terrace Restaurant should be a must for every Guest We Travel every month , but the Breakfast Buffet at el Pilar is far the best .The price is unbeatable. Location absolutely fantastic Parking Garage close by , 17 Euro for a day Looking forward of coming back in the Spring .

This isn't an complaint but please tell customers beforehand, you can't leave the window open in room 114 because the window is at streetlevel . I signed up to become a member , I think booking on Silken's website will give me a better understanding what room I book , than on Booking.com Thanks again to everyone at Reception , Terrace Restaurant and the lovely Lady that served us Breakfast this morning

Estepona is a beautiful and charming sea side village

We loved this hotel and the location, however, we misunderstood the location. We were advised that we could not drive to or park at the hotel but needed to park at a garage. It would have been helpful to tell us which exit to use because we ended up unnecessarily dragging heavy luggage along the boulevard to get to the hotel. Other than that is was a lovely stay with a beautiful rooftop bar that provided views of the area.

A relaxing luxury treat after a week of sight seeing - we would come again!

Staff 10/10 (Celia and Ana gave us an awesome welcome - just what we needed after an early day of travelling) Location 10/10 Room 10/10 Dined in both restaurants - Casafina and Makako, both very different but both offered delicious dining. The Rooftop bar is perfect for evening drinks and we enjoyed a pleasant afternoon sat quietly with our books before the crowds arrived. Would definitely come back.
